Anusree (Anu) Nair is a partner at Klasko Immigration Law Partners’ Philadelphia office. She focuses her practice on business immigration –helping investors, scientists, doctors and other highly skilled professionals achieve their immigration goals.
As the Chair of the EB-5 Investor Team, Anu leads a team of dedicated attorneys who assist investors in securing their green cards through regional center investments and individual investment opportunities. Recognized within the field for her command of investor-related issues, she is frequently called on to review EB-5 cases prepared by other law firms to ensure compliance with USCIS’ extremely rigorous standards. Anu is routinely retained to respond to difficult Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs) and to file appeals for denials received by other firms.
Anu also Chairs the EB-1/O-1 Team and leads a specialized team of technical writers and attorneys. With her strong science background, Anu is uniquely poised to assist doctors, researchers, and other highly skilled professionals secure their green cards through EB-1A (Aliens of Extraordinary Ability), EB-1B (Outstanding Researchers); and EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions.
Anu has extensive experience representing hospitals, international record companies, multinational businesses, and major production companies in securing a variety of employment-based immigration benefits for their employees. She also assists clients with family-based immigration matters and represents clients before the Immigration Court, the Citizenship and Immigration Service, and Customs and Border Protection.
As an immigrant herself, Anu knows firsthand how difficult and daunting the immigration process is. With this background, she is acutely aware that her ability to solve immigration issues not only impacts the lives of individual clients, but also their entire families and future generations.
Anu is a 2006 graduate of Baruch College where she majored in Biology. She went on to obtain her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as submissions editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender. Prior to joining Klasko Immigration Law Partners, Anu practiced with an immigration law firm in New York City and was an Adjunct Lecturer of Biology at Baruch College.
