Allie Dempsey is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office. She is responsible for providing strategic and comprehensive business immigration solutions to the firm’s corporate clients as well as for working with individuals of extraordinary ability to achieve their immigration goals.

She advises corporate clients on how to obtain nonimmigrant status for global talent, including H-1B, O-1, and TN status, and has successfully guided clients through the PERM labor certification and immigrant visa process. Allie has experience working with employers in a variety of industries as well as with leading universities to overcome immigration challenges and retain a skilled international workforce. In her corporate role, Allie oversees a team of immigration professionals including attorneys and paralegals.

Allie also has considerable experience guiding highly skilled individuals through the green card process via complex petitions for extraordinary ability (EB-1A), outstanding researcher (EB-1B), and national interest waiver (EB-2 NIW) classification. Allie manages the firm’s EB-1 practice, supervising a team of professionals including the firm’s team of expert technical writers in case development and strategy.

Allie is motivated in her work by the knowledge that every immigrant to the United States, no matter their circumstances, has a personal story driving them to seek new opportunities in the United States. Prior to joining Klasko Immigration Law Partners, Allie practiced immigration law in a boutique firm setting in Philadelphia, providing comprehensive legal advice to corporate and individual clients on a range of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters. She has experience with naturalization, marriage- and family-based immigration, and humanitarian matters.

Allie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French from Gettysburg College and earned her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law, where she was the first Managing Editor of the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs, and served as a legal intern with the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review. After graduation from law school, Allie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Terrence R. Nealon, Lackawanna County (Pennsylvania) Court of Common Pleas before entering private practice. She is currently admitted to practice law in New York and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
