He has practiced federal court litigation since 2002 and immigration law since 2007.  After law school, he clerked for a trial court judge in Pennsylvania and gained significant experience before juries and judges in state and federal courts. His prior litigation clients include General Electric and General Motors. Since 2019, Brian has been lead counsel or co-counsel in more than 1,000 lawsuits involving U.S. immigration benefits. He is admitted to practice before 30 U.S. district courts, all of the U.S. circuit courts of appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  Brian is passionate about protecting immigration benefits and the U.S. immigration system through the U.S. courts.

Brian has long been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and currently serves as the Vice Chair of its National Benefits Litigation Committee. He is known as a leader in the immigration litigation field, frequently presenting on immigration litigation issues at continuing legal education (CLE) conferences, and empowering other immigration lawyers by training them on how to handle federal litigation cases.

After earning his bachelor of arts degree in History and Political Science from Washington and Jefferson College, he earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
