Kristin Peresta has been with Klasko Immigration Law Partners since the very beginning! She is known across the firm for her exceptional immigration knowledge and managerial skills, but is loved for her collaboration and kindness. She was also the very first recipient of the Lisa Felix Award, which truly reflects her “selfless kindness even in difficult times.” In her feature for this award, Ron Klasko said, “it doesn’t get any better as a first hire than Kristin Peresta.”

- How long have you been at the firm?
I have been with Klasko since their doors opened on January 2, 2004. I was their first external hire! - What is your current role?
I am the Director of Client Communications and Workload. I work on client-specific data projects and firm projects with a focus on workload analysis. - How has your job changed over the years?
I was hired initially as an Account Manager (now known as Supervisory Paralegal) where I managed client accounts and a team of paralegals. I am proud to say that some of those paralegals I supervised are still with the firm 10 years later. Then, I was a Client Services Director where I managed a team of Account Managers and worked on firm projects. All these roles allowed me to expand my knowledge in immigration law, client management, and data reporting. - What is your favorite memory from your early days at the firm?
One of my fondest memories is of one of our winter holiday events. It was held in a penthouse in Center City Philadelphia. The team building game was that we had to write down something that nobody knew about you and the rest of the firm had to guess who wrote it. I learned so many fun and interesting things about my colleagues that day. - What do you value most about working at KILP?
Collaboration and the opportunity for professional growth at the firm. - What has been one of the more challenging times?
The October 2020 AOS rush. It was the first time I pulled all-nighters since college! Everyone in the firm worked together and worked long hours the entire month to file the green card applications.
